A cigar box, perhaps from the 1990s, treated with a process that deposits iron oxide on the wood and makes it look like rusty iron.
\nThe piece is very interesting because it denotes the typical appearance of rusty objects.
\nIt is a laborious process that takes a lot of time; the oxides must be deposited in several layers.
\nThe box mounts a glass of slightly aged plexiglass, the iron oxide (you can smell it) has been given a coat of rust-blocking paint.
